Each Chamber Member is encouraged to participate in one or more committees of interest to that member. While Committee participation definitely enhances your Chamber experience, it is NOT a requirement of membership.
Committees are the branches of the Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce. By uniting business professionals from a diverse group of individuals, industries and companies to form these committees, the Ketchikan Chamber’s impact is maximized.

If you think that another subcommittee should be formed, just could not find one to meet your needs, come to the meeting and we will probably form it and you will be chair. Perhaps Real-estate or Housing Construction could be subcommittees—- just need someone to come forward. The Chamber is looking for a less ridged approach to committees one that gets more people involved but does not drag them off to more meetings.
