It's that time of the year and with only 2 weeks to we need your help! Our one and only fundraising effort of the year is the Enchanted Forest Dance and Auction on December 5th at the Ted Ferry Civic Center.

The Chamber is looking for your support on two levels.

First: Plan to attend the December 5th Auction and purchase a ticket early! Fantastic food and live music entertainment are guaranteed to make for a great evening of dining and dancing to welcome in the holiday season. Only 194 tickets are available. Companies may reserve a table for their employees at a discounted price of $300 for eight seats. Individual tickets are $40.

Second: Please consider donating an item for auction! You can do this in several ways:

Be a tree sponsor! Large Christmas trees will be provided by the chamber for your company to decorate and lavish with gifts and gift certificates. Twelve trees will be available for live auction - in the past these trees have raised thousands of dollars and have provided great opportunity for companies to promote their services and their creativity. 10% of money raised will go to a charity of the donor's choice. This year's trees will be fresh cut beautiful Douglas Firs provided by North Shore Gardens. Companies can decorate their prize trees at Ted Ferry Civic Center on the morning of the event ( December 5 ) between the hours of 9:00 am and Noon. Being a tree sponsor is a lot of fun and garners a great deal of the evenings focus. If you, your business or organization is interested in being a tree sponsor, please contact the Chamber right away. (Update! Tree sponsors are already filled up! Hope that you can be there to see these wondrous spectacles and the fantastic job that our tree sponsors do!)

Donate a small-decorated Christmas tree or wreath or perhaps even a Christmas stocking bestowed with gift certificates and or gifts. These items have proved very popular in the past. Trees can be brought to Ted Ferry during the morning on December 5th Wreaths may be delivered on the day at Ted Ferry or prior to December 5th st at the Chamber Offices.

Donate a product, service, or gift certificate to be part of a silent auction. Please indicate clearly what you are offering, and its retail value. Items need to be dropped by the Chamber Officeprior to December 3rd.

The Enchanted Forest Fund Raiser is the only Chamber fund raising event of the year and your support is critical in funding our goals of promoting a strong and diversified economy in Ketchikan. Your support will receive prominent advertising of your company's involvement in all our promotional material.

We look forward to having you be a part of 2009's Enchanted Forest Dance and Auction! See you there
