Alaskan Trivia:
December 1937 Headline: Embarrassed Miner Strikes it Rich
After spending years prospecting for gold in the Cassier district, Percy Peacock at Boulder Creek this year discovered to his embarrassment that his cabin has been resting on ground running 35 cents to the pan. The dirt banking the cabin and covering the roof also panned out a tidy sum of $6000.00.
