Calamity Triathlon

Ketchikan Parks and Recreation in partnership with State Parks is staging the annual Calamity Triathlon which features kayak, run and bike legs connecting all three Ketchikan State parks. Open to competitors 12 and older, athletes can compete solo or as a team. The triathlon begins with kayak leg at 9:30 am at Totem Bight. Onsite registration begins at 8:30 am. Register at Parks and Recreation or online at www.ketchikanrunningclub.org. Proceeds benefit KASPER (Ketchikan Area State Parks Education and Recreation).
