The official Grand Opening of the “Ketchikan Salmon Walk” begins at 10 a.m. at the Tongass Historical Museum and runs until 1 p.m., though you can start at any point along the route. Stations along the Salmon Walk loop will be hosted by local organizations sharing information about salmon – science, art and history – and there will be an artist market in the Museum parking lot as part of the Celebration of the Sea.
